Kreg Owners' Community

Aloha everyone, My name is Tyrone and I am from Hawaii. I am a beginer at building with wood. The Krge Jig has made it clearer on how to join wood together with or with out glue. I have down loaded the instructions from Kreg's website on how to build a work table etc...

Now I feel I am ready to build me a storage shed. I have a problem. I'm not sure how to measure or framming a shed. Would some one help me with a how to design a storage shed? I would really like to use my Kreg Jig to frame my shed.

Thank you very much.

Tyrone things are slow right now so get me a size and I'll see if I can get you a set of blue prints drawed up. And where you live uae 3 1/2" scerw's I build my hole shop out of them. remember this its not rocket science.

Aloha David,

You have a very awesome storage. Is that a eight feet high? I would like to build one eight feet high, twelve feet wide, and fourty feet long. Double pitch. I'm not sure which would be best for the foundation. One- I was thinking of laying concrete, two- use pillers, or three- both.

How long did it take to build that? How many people were involved? The out come is rewarding.

Thank you,

Tyrone...

Here  is my shop I built it myself and it is pole barn style. No concrete and no pier blocks. Footings are actually four feet six beep and two sacks on redi mix in each hole.Pt post on top and plumb and back fill with sand ,Notice no studs and girts and purlins. This is bty far the cheapest way to build and fastest. I did mine 2005 or 6 and being I did this for a living I spent 2 grand  including permit and concrete floor. It is 16x24x 10.Ill send interior picture s in a little bit
