Hello, My name is Troy Burns
I live in Wv, i have the k4 Master system. and a few other Kreg tools. I have been out of woodworking for about 17 years, and now i'm trying to get back into it. I have lost track of which tools are good.
I would like some help on the larger tools such as tablesaw, bandsaw ,and so on.
Any help will be great.
Thx Troy

I like the craftsman contractor table saw. The fence was close to plumb and square. The best advise I can give you is read your owners manual and spend a little time on squaring up your saws.
Hey fellow Appalachian American. I from the southern part of the state. I could not make it without my table saw. Next would be my router. I added a table to the extension on my saw as a router table. I buy a lot of Ridgid tools at the local distribution warehouse. They have a sale about every 3 months. Their tools are not the best but are a good value. It may be worth you time to drive down this way next month. It's outside Greenville, SC. Not a bad drive down 77 to 85. I'm happy with my table saw, router, jig saw and ro sander. Also a bandsaw and pin nailer. They also sell Ryobi. I'm planning on a jointer and planer next month.
Nothing replaces a table saw. I purchased a contractors saw from Dewalt years ago. It was midrange in price. It does do an adequate job. Everything revolves around the table saw in my shop. I have all the major tools in a large hobby shop yet my midrange contractors saw is still center stage. Someday I will have I will have a cabinet saw. But not until my contractors saw wears out.
I personally think a quality table saw is the heart and soul of many a' shop. That would be a good investment, if you are willing sacrifice the room it takes. Defiantly consider putting many larger tools on portable wheeled stands.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
