Hi.  I'm Steve from Lexington, KY.  I have done woodworking on and off (mostly off) since I was a child.  Now that I am retired I am finally able to devote some time to it.  I bought a Kreg kit after seeing a demo at the local Woodcraft store and because my current project is well suited to pocket hole joinery.  My son and I are building a bunk bed set.  So far we have planted 64 Kreg screws in 16 joints that fasten the head and foot boards to the posts.  These pieces are rock solid and look great.

I am glad to hear that.. can not wait to see pics of it!

Hi this is Gary Roofner I am a member of the kreg forum. I lost my home in the Lee flood 2 months ago. The damage was to great not enough insurance to rebuild without going in high debt. We have spent the last 2 months gutting our house removing sheetrock and paneling water damage first floor. We have a buyer who is going to restore as a rental property. Hopfully we will close and sell our home next week.

So we bought a mobile home and moved into nice mobile park with a nice carport with a nice size shed on the back. A friend of mine is using my tablesaw and my sliding mitersaw to get his house fixed from the flood. This gave me a place to store my saws until we got moved in our new place. He probably will not be finished using the tools until the first of the year.

I'm in the process of setting up the shed for my new shop.

I lost my bandsaw and my router in my router table.

It's a retirement park some of my neighbors are wood workers.

I will have to build a deck and put an awning or a porch over the deck.

Need to build porch for my backdoor also in the spring.

I'm catching up on what's been going here. Always get inspiration from the posts here.

Glad to be back!!!

Hey there, I'm Kris mainly a car guy...aren't we all, lol..anyway. I bought this thing today and had looked at it before, today I pulled the trigger. I have repaired two pieces of furniture and ready to build a work bench now...I'm not much on woodworking but I think this thing has me enjoying it alot more. Its a great product, imo..and it has me looking around for more salvageable wood as I like reusing everything. I'll talk with fellows later after I get something substancial built.. take care..

Hello all

My name is James

I live in Merrimack NH

I have been woodworking for about 6 years now.  Kreg Pocket Hole Kit was the gateway to a whole new world for me.  I have built everything from simple boxes to beautiful Kitchen Islands and everything in between ALWAYS with Kreg Pocket Hole Kit guiding the way.

Im currently working on my second Kitchen Island.

Thought this would be a good place for new ideas.

Hi, My name is Jim. I am 25 in Seattle. I'm an amateur diy-type (auto maintenance, homebrew, computers, etc), and want to get into woodworking to build some functional furniture. I dont have much work space, so the Kreg system is attractive for its simplicity. I drew up plans for my first project in SketchUp. I'll post a thread in the correct section to get some input on it. Thanks for this great resource/community!
