thanks for all the great comments! I'm blushing. Getting antsy, cuts are made, but can't start building til this weekend. this is my 2nd of 12's at the ER. Cursed work! have to pay for the wood though. Thanks David, any other tips you come up with would be appreciated.

have a good night, angie

Angie I will have to afirm what steve said above.  You have progressed well and done so with a remarkable speed.  I have to believe that you are capable with doing a superior job on the enertainment center or any other project you choose to build.  You are doing just great and are showing some tateful artistic projects.

I just finished two units similar to the flanking base cabs and bookshelves in this design. A couple of tips I can give you include attaching the base cabinet table tops to the book shelf hoods and then install them onto the base cabs. Another is to think out all your electrical needs way in advance if you want to add media in the base cabinets. A couple of lights in the top of the book shelves would look really nice.

love it! bought the wood, I'm gong solid pine for the front, and birch for the rest. Still deciding on molding. Starting with the 2 side cabinets. They will be 33 high, approx 18 deep, and each 25 wide due to the space. My total wall space is 108, and when I'm done building it, I'm putting the floor in too!

The bookshelves on the side will be next.

One bite at a time...that's how you eat an elephant!
