table saw

I have a Dewalt DW744XRS. The fence is aluminum, about 1" thick and 3" high. I've been trying to find a featherboard that will attach to the fence to hold the wood flat to the table without success. Any suggestions?.....Mike

Hi Mike, that's an issue I have with contractor saws in general. I ended up making subfences with a t-track running along the top edge of the face. I make the subfences about 6" high and split. Had to do that on two of the contractor size guys now.

Thx John. I've asked,called and been on the web forever and all I seem to get is "make it yourself". I even had a Dewalt rep tell me to return the saw and buy another brand. I follow what you said but what do you mean "split"?...Mike
