Thank you Jay.

I am glad I was advised to use the Butterfly inlays. This entire project was a learning process that I can use going forward.

Hi Roger,  Your project turned out exceptional well.  It is one nice piece of work.  I am glad that I was able to give you some help.  I am sure that you will be able to find several uses for this type of filling and it is an excellent filler for loose knots and actual holes in wood.  You will be able to salvage many beautiful pieces of wood that would be in the burn pile if you are not familiar with this technique.  Like I had said I have often purchased from wood dealers some very ratty looking lumber and ended up with treasured cabinetry and furniture for a very low price.  It is funny that nature will give you something like it and it is something that you can not duplicate.

I like the butter fly inlays as well and this should be one strong tabletop and it certainly is an eye catching and very appealing projects.  I do appreciate your updating of it as I have wondered how you were doing with it.
