I am trying to determine the name of a piece of specialty hardware. It consist of a screw at one end and a bolt at the other. You screw the hardware into a piece of wood and then you leave the bolt extended to attach something to the wood using a nut. I need to find some, but I do not know what is the correct name.

Thanks for any help.

I believe they  are  called water  closet bolts  used for  mounting  toilet  stools to the floor

These are often referred to as hanger bolts.

large

Commonly used with top/leg mounting plates

And corner leg / apron brackets

Bonus round - the fastener that has the coarse threads on both ends is known as a dowel screw
