What a cool looking chair, Jim.  It looks really nice and smooth; did you test it out yet, Jim?

Seeing a porch chair glider is different and I bet you will get buyers for that idea.

 Thanks for sharing, Jim.

Jay , thank you for the very nice comments on my chair , coming from you means a lot !!  Used yellow pine for the back and leg,s , dose give it a nice grain look !!  Yes I do like to plug all the screw hole,s  , even the pocket holes on the main frame , think it looks better !! Did change the arch on the back and made the slat,s 9/16 " thick and added two screws in each end of the boards  !!Have a great day , JIM !!

Jim this is an excellent looking chair that looks comfortable enough to take a nap in or at least watching the sun set and sipping ice tea.  Love the color of this and the beautiful grains in the wood.  I note that you have plugged the screw holes and this really makes it stand out from most that you see.  The craftsman does not take time to hide the screws and leaves them exposed and in many cases makes the chair look unfinished,  Very nice Jim and one to be proud of especially since it is an altered plan.  Thank you for sharing your work.
