This is the TV stand I made using my Kreg tools, and going by a plan I found on Kreg ' s website. There were some measurements from the plans that were incorrect, and when putting it together, I found that it did not fit, and had to take an inch off a few different pieces . Other than that, it was easy to follow, and easy to put together using Kreg products. Very happy with my Kreg tools!

The divider trim sits below the top rail which is 1-1/2" wide. So the divider trim should be 1-1/2" shorter than the divider panel. Which would be 16-1/4". Not sure where you guys are getting this one inch shorter unless your bottom rails are not 2 inches from the ground.

Also, I used my Kreg DIY kit, with the R3, and found that using the R3 for all the pocket holes, after a few, the connection point for the clamp started coming off. I'd have to take it off the clamp, put it back on the R3, then attach the clamp again, and continue drilling holes, until it came off again and I had to start this process over again. Not a huge problem, but inconvenient when drilling so any pocket holes.

Brandon,

The sides should come to the full height as the legs.

Legs = 22"

minus 2" gap from floor = 20

minus 1-1/2" for bottom rail 1x2 = 18-1/2"

minus thickness of bottom shelf 3/4" = 17-3/4"

Which in the plan Kreg has on their webpage the Divider panels are listed at 17-3/4 x 13-1/4.

Am I missing something?

BBy following exact measurements of plan, the inner two pieces that make up the sides for your shelves, and the two front pieces you put on last , are exactly one inch too long. Also, the back piece is too long. No big deal taking an inch off, but while following the plans, you've already  cut, drilled the shelf peg holes, and drilled the pocket holes, when you find out you need an inch off. Then you have to drill new pocket holes.
