This is very nice.  I would have chosen a different fabric : )  Looks great.  I am looking for something like this for my den.  I have back issues of Woodsmith?

I built this futon from plans in Wood magazine. The article is in a magazine in the year 1992 or 1993. But if you go to woodmagazine.com you can purchase the plans. Mine has now lasted since 1993. Very sturdy. I built it from oak and used the kreg jig and gorilla glue. Have yet to make any repairs. The wood magazine plans include the templates for the routing of the grooves for the folding mechanism. I recommend using the Kreg jig and gorilla glue(foaming type) for everything.

Hi, I am looking to build something like this, do you happen to have any plans/general idea about how you built it?

Anything you have that could help me down this road would be greatly appreciated!

Ryan
