I designed the shelves on a cad software and used my new Kreg Jig in the construction. I think it came out decant for the first time making a built in. I found some old doors at a yard sale years ago and they were the perfect size for the larger shelf. I also added some glass mosaic tiles to the tops of the shelf to add to the finished look.

I am a cad administrator at work so I am allowed to have a home license on my home personal computer of SolidWorks. It is not a cheap date to buy one license for just having it at home. What free software are you using? I am shocked it will not even allow you the ability to share files. If you are looking for an 2D software I put DraftSight on all of the laptops here for engineers that are traveling. It is easy to use and it is set up just like AutoCad witch is the most common cad software out there. I have been told SketchUp and SmartDraw are good free software’s but other than looking at their websites I have not played with them. If there is anything I can do to help let me know.

Beautiful work, what CAD program did you use?  I need something I can design with and share with people.  The program I am using now is a free one but it won't let me email and share with a friend my design ideas.

That turned out nice.  Doors were a nice touch.

Great Job!  Love the way you were able to work the doors into the piece and the glass tiles set it all off nicely.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
