What three tools aid your woodworking the most?

What three tools aid your woodworking the most? These are my choices: digital calipers, Kreg Multi-Mark, and my brass coins/measuring shims. What are yours, good people?

I have four favorite tools.  My Miter Saw, Table Saw, Router and my Kreg 5 jig.

You guessed right Micheal.  It's a can of beer only bigger. lol  This way when you tell your wife you've only had 4 beers you've actually had 6.  You're not lying and she is none the wiser.  It's a, win win situation.

Hi kregers , it seems the general opinions are the Kreg Multimark  scores high in the measuring and marking department .In the big boys toys department I guess the Table saw  is King when it has so many uses , especially with all the jigs that can be made for a Table saw. Thanks guys for your input ,keep them coming .

hi michael evans  for me  i    really like  router and  table   saws  and kreg multi mark

for great safety  the micro jigs grr ripper and grr rip block really helps keep my fingers

I would have to put in the three Hand tools such as, marking & measuring, as one.  The second would be my clamps and the third would be my power tools. My fourth would be my wood planes. I through those in because I rather do it old school.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
