After buying a flat panel 37" TV, our existing entertainment center had to go. Pricing new ones was discouraging. They cost almost as much as the TV! So I got the ok from my wife to build one. As I posted on the forum I ran into some trouble drilling the pocket screws into the oak faceframe. The screws caused bulges and a few poked through! Both pieces of wood were 3/4 inch and I followed the specs on my Kreg tools. I had no problems on my last project and I built to whole thing with a Kreg Jr. I now have the K4 kit. With help from a guy in the forum, I have moved the depth collar a few 1/16's of an inch for a more shallow hole. I also burned out my cordless drill last night. Its a12 year old a Craftsman 13 volt. So now I'm using a Black & Decker electric hammer drill. Need to replace that drill fast- many more holes to drill. I'll post some pictures tomorrow of my progress.

Is there a link for posting pictures?

It looks great, Tim. Looking forward to updates as they come! Especially the end result with the TV on top!

"Is there a link for posting pictures?"

There sure is, Tim! At the top white space where you typed in your blog entry, there's a little 'camera' icon. When you click that icon it will allow you to upload a photo of your choice from your computer or post a photo which is already on the web somewhere.

I'd love to see some photos of that TV stand!
