I received a Kreg tool box for Christmas this year.  I love it.  I now have a place to keep all of my Kreg clamps, extra drill bits, extra driver bits, and even my Kreg tool in the bottom of the tool box.  I love the removable trays for screw in the top of the box and the see thru lid.  I love the way that the top is supported with the legs in the back when you lift the top lid to get to the bottom.  The only way this box could have been better is is the bottom was a little deeper but it's still very functional.  The box is very tough and well made.  As for the value, at first I thought the price was a little high but then I figured in the cost of the screws that are included in the box and I figured that the box itself cost me about $20.  It's a pretty good value in my book.  If you're looking for a great place to store your Kreg gear, this is a great choice!

Just bought the Toolboxx at my local Lowe's for $179. With the $50 rebate that will be cheaper than the Master jig by itself. Haven't used it yet, but I'm looking forward to it this weekend!

The bins can be easily labeled---

apply a strip of masking tape, adhesive backed label, or the like, and

write on it, using a Xfine-point sharpie pen.

Also, for viewing, a sample screw can be affixed, using clear RTV, or the like, to the inside of the container lid.

Hey Chris,

I'm glad to hear that you are getting into the Kreg stuff.  You will never regret it.  As far as labelling goes, I didn't label my screws because I've been using the screws long enough that I can tell one Kreg screw from another just by looking at it.  If you keep at it, you will know what I mean soon enough.

Hi David,

I bought the Kreg toolbox as well.  I am fairly new to Kreg products but was wondering if you mark or label  which screws are in the different containers in the toolbox?

Thanks.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
