Sounds like 2 new tools for me -- a true amateur - I need all the help I can get - The square-cut looks too handy to be true

Is there much flex in the ruler? That would NOT be good if there is. Also, does it snap-lock at 90 and 45 degrees, or do you have to eye-ball it?

With that said, it looks like another practical tool that would get plenty of use. Consider it in my shopping cart!

I bought this the day it came available and have used it during my current project of cutting tiles to tile my custom shower. Lots of odd measurements and mitered cuts in small spaces, Great little tool. Lots of applications.

I was going to get a steel one from Busybee, James W, what was it you were saying about swiss army knives. What is Kregs plan, to be the HD of woodworking? It's a good thing I have 4 walls to hang stuff on. Who in Ontario is selling these now?

I simply love my Sterret combination square, This tool I think will put my old square to rest.

ooops....perhaps you could think about incorporating metric into the pocket hole jigs then ?

Chris, the Multi-Mark features metric scales on the back side. :)

Oh Dear........Kreg still haven't woken up to the fact that when you sell your products Internationally, not everybody uses inches - surely you've heard of millimetres ?.......it's great little measuring system - no fractions !

I can't tell from the pictures, but it looks like a 45 is the only angle marked. Is that true? I realize you can use this to transfer an angle, but it would nice to be able to see what that angle is.

Other than that, it looks pretty handy! Probably a LOT less clumsy than a combination square for squaring and measuring (especially bit/blade height), which is what I find myself using almost all of the time.
