One Kitchen is a soothing, well laid out, modern, cullinary workshop, and the other kitchen is the one we actually have.

Step one in the transformation happened this weekend.

You can't beat Kregs tool for making faceframes. They hold forever and make real even tight joints.

I too just installed an over-the-range microwave oven. Had to modify some cabinetry and did us kreg fasteners. They worked well. BTW, nice job. Mine left me several inches on each side so I had some working room.

That is OK, it is probably a good idea not to use a Kreg jig in the microwave. ;)

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
