I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Desk.jpg Here are the plans I drew up for the desk, I deviated a bit from the plans but it gives you a good idea.
Hey Kevin, I got your email about the recording studio desk. I since broke that desk down and repurposed the wood. But what I used is the project wood from Lowes https://www.lowes.com/pd/Finger-Joint-Pattern-Stock-Prefinished-Pine-Board-Common-3-4-in-x-16-in-x-6-ft-Actual-0-6562-in-x-16-in-x-6-ft/1000088891 this wood was fine to use very strong 3/4 inch. I drew up a cut up plan for it, i will see if I still have it and attach it here. But I made the desk only 27" high and I think it was 4' wide and 36" deep. My advice is be generous for length, as you never seem to have enough room. For the legs i used 24" wide planks but I suggest going a bit wider, if you use the table top of 36" I would make the legs at least 32" This was my first project with the Kreg so I have learned a bit since then... That said this thing was solid as I glued all the pieces before screwing them, so taking it apart without destroying the wood was a bit of a challenge...
