This is the first project that I built after returning to woodworking. It is made of 3/4" Melamine. I used the Kreg pockethole system to assemble the entire desk. this desk is in my daughters homeoffice. she found it on Ikea's website with a $200 price tag. I built it for less than $60.

a little of both.  there was a drawing of the desk on Ikea's website that showed the length and width but the rest of it i had to figure out.

I am sitting at home in Scotland today waiting for delivery of a new DeWalt 733 planer/thicknesser and passing some time on my computer. Just came across your wall desk. What a great idea Chris, functional and good looking to.

What a great idea and better execution, I bet it's also way better quality than Ikea's.

Thanks.  My daughter found it on the IKEA website for about $200.  I made it for less than $50.
