This was a two part project. The stand for the tank is built out of pressure treated 2” x 6”s. The stand was primed and painted black, I also added a tile floor, extremely strong. The picture only shows the Walnut / Maple shell which slides onto the stand and is attached with screws. The back is open and has three 1 ½” support bars which allow for drip loops.

Grain of the wood and the color is beautiful.
I haven't built anything that supports anything quite so heavy ....what did you do to beef up the framework for all of the weight?
