Thank you very much for the compliments, Kevin! Check out my blog about woodburning and how I apply it to my woodworking pieces. I think you'll find this can be a very enjoyable additional hobby to your woodworking, and adds SO MUCH to your pieces. It personalizes them in a way no other woodworker can match.

I have never had any cause to be interested in woodburning, but after seeing this piece I have GOT to get me a woodburning kit. I also do a little graphic design work when the occasion arises (a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta - whoopee-do) and I can see where customizing a piece like this with some typography really makes it unique. This thing looks really good.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
