Excellent project.  My youngest son build his first half pipe behind our garage using alot of scrap and salvage material.  His latest ramp is on a 25 ft trailer, which he rents outs for Birthday's, skate parties and for lessons.

Such a shame to have to dismantle it. Hopefully you will be able to store the lumber for some future projects. That certainly was an undertaking you were in the process of doing. I know your daughter is going to be heartbroken as well.

Thanks so much for the words of support :)
This will be the last picture unfortunately, which is why I posted it. My landlord says it has to be taken down immediately. I was building it for my daughter's 10th bday, which is in a couple of weeks.
I'm heartbroken actually. Yes, it has been an unbelievable amount of lumber to manage and I've done literally every bit of it myself. I came up with all sorts of creative ways to hold wood in place and have an extra pair of hands throughout this project...as I'm not a large or tall person:). And the expense alone is enough to turn my stomach when I think of taking it apart....

Very impressive indeed. Definitely do not want my 9 year old grand-son to see this as he would want me to build him one. Looking to see the future pictures as this project moves forward.

Wow Vanessa, you take on big projects for your first one.  That is alot of lumber and would be a challenge for any  person to assemble.  Also a nice job of supporting and making it stable so it will not fall over while working on it.  That would be a big job in its self.    Take lots of photos for a scrap book and watch your adventure with woodworking grow.   This is a project to be proud of.  Thank you for sharing your work.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
