Just make sure when you setup your Kreg Jig to make sure the boards are level with the top of the jig. A nice bench to clamp the pieces to when screwing them together is a great help. I believe the clamping of the parts is key to getting good joints.

William, I am sorry to hear about the hospital stay but happy that you survived the crash. I have learned the lesson about bikes and I respect them enough to stay off them even thought the urge to own one still. I think I will set up my Kreg the same way you have when I get my shop set up. I have a 12' x 20' due for completion any day now. Any suggestions about setting it up?

Steve, sorry I have not responded to you. Been in the hospital from 8/29/10 to 9/23/10. Me and the yellow motorcycle have parted ways with me learning the dangers of riding.
Thanks for the compliment on the saw cabinet. The saw is actually a Skil compound miter saw bought through Lowes. Probably made by the same place though. The top was made using some of Kregs concepts on edge banding. The saw cabinet does need to have a couple improvements to support longer boards.

William, I like the mitre saw cabinet. The top looks similar to a portable top I made for a workmate. I also recognize the table saw as a craftsman. I just bought one and I haven't figured out how all the extras work.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
