Plugged pocket holes in footboard.

To make these beds as strong as possible we used pocket hole screws on both sides of the headboards and footboards and filled the holes with pine plugs. The plugs are barely visible and look fine.

These two web sites have the plans.  We made some modifications that I will be happy to share if you want them.  The plans do not call for pocket holes but the places to use them are pretty obvious.
