I used a shop made jig. I found the plan to make it in Woodsmith Magazine.

Nice job on the jewelry box! What did you use to cut your box joints? Was wondering if you had the new Incra iBox jig.

Kent this is a beautiful crafted jewelry box showing some fasinating grain structure and fine jointery.  I always like the  box joint  especially in some wood as it just seems to fit nicely with the grain structure as show in your posted project.  I also am quite impresssed with how you have made the top with the growth rings following the conture of the lid. that coupled with the darker colored stain makes this a desireable jewelry box that is a jewel in its self.   Thanks for showing some of your remarkable design and craftsmanship.
