Lowe's.  It's a solar light.  I don't recommend them.  Just go with a low voltage system that you wire or plug in.

Where did you get that fence light at?

Robert,

This gate was built with pocket screws and Tite Bond III wood glue.  It has held up very well since I installed it.  This material is 1" stock.  I have done gates with 1 1/2" stock and used mortise and tenon joinery.  I did one with 2" thick material and used pinned mortise and tenon.  It is a very large, heavy gate and it, too is holding up very well.

My inspiration came from www.prowellwoodworks.com.  He has some wonderful designs and some info on his construction technique, as well as coatings and finishes.

Ted

Did you use pocket or tongue and groove?  What was the thickness of the stock? What type of glue do you think work best outdoors? Do you know where I can go to get some information on building gates?
