No problem, my brain has gotten accustomed to trying to think of ways to work around my mistakes! :)
In regards to puck lights in the cabinet... on my "wish my Kitchen had... and will next year..." list is not only lights in the cabinets but the switches to turn them on automatically when they open... like the fridge.
(Veronica, I think if more women built kitchen cabinets that would have already been the "norm") heehee

No problem Roni- we like to make more work for other people whenever possible!

By the way, my kitchen is in complete disarray so no cabinet completion until after the kitchen remodel is complete!!!

Kim and Anthony you are too funny. After Anthony clarified what you meant Kim, it made sense to me. I actually think I'm going to do that. I have had a cabinet like that before and although it annoyed me because I had to close one door first, it did make it easy to store larger items without have to manuever anything. Thanks for the ideas! I appreciate it!

I just went to a homebuilders show this past weekend and at one of the kitchen remodeling booths they had a vendor that did just that- remove the center stile, and then install roll out shelves. They also put puck lights in the lower cabinets so you could see what you had in there. At least you ladies are taking out your frustrations on the cabinets and not your husbands!

Thanks Anthony. LOL I sometimes assume people can read what I am thinking. I have seen cabinets that are made with the fake stile on the inside of one door. It makes it more difficult shutting since one door always has to close first. But the good thing is that you can put larger things into it without the middle stile getting in the way. Maybe this mistake is a blessing in disguise Veronica! And I think blue would be great!... My favorite color! My son's summer job is going to be painting all of my workshop pieces blue and white. lol

Ah...a fake stile. Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying Anthony. Well, it's not done yet because I haven't been in the mood. This weekend I'm demolishing my kitchen because it's being remodeled so the cabinet will not be completed this weekend either. Maybe in the next few weeks. I'll kep you posted!

I think what Kim meant was to attach the "fake" stile to one of the doors.

So- Is it done yet? Still too cold here to get anything done in my shop.

James you are too funny. When you said blue, it struck me as odd becuase I was on the internet last night and saw a picture of garage cabinets that were painted the blue and white Indiana Colts colors. I LOVED the color and thought about repainting this cabinet blue and white!! LOL You read my mind!!! :-)
