Mission-style corner desk for the bedroom. Kreg pocket holes hold the shelves to the legs, the legs to the top, and they join the top boards together. I used to use biscuits, but no longer.

I really like this idea. So simple and small, but so effective. Very clean lines - like most things built with pocket holes. Love the color. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks Chris. It is a stain used by the Amish here for all their quarter-sawn oak furniture. It is called Michael's Cherry. It is a dark stain with hints of red. You can get it around here or order from Kiem Lumber in Charm, OH.

I bought it from an Amish store in Charm, OH where I bought the rest of the furniture -- except for the desk. It was perfect for the desk -- quarter sawn oak and smaller than a normal office chair.

How did you find a chair that matched so well, or did you make that too!?!?
