Thanks! I didn't count the hours and  I did it during my free time (an hour there, a week-end here etc..).but if I had to guess i would say roughly 60 hours. I base this on the assumption that if I was doing this full time I would have done it in 1.5 to 2 weeks.

Great looking desk.  How long do you think it took you to build?

Marta, They are readily available at our local home center here. RONA is the home center Chain that has them. Not sure about Home Depot but can't hurt to look! .They are 1 1/2" think and they are sold at either 24" or 39" wide X 72" long. I paid $129CAD(~$100USD) for the 24"x72" and the 39"X72" was $199CAD(~$160USD). I worked with Bamboo Plywood before which came in 3/4" 4'X8" sheets and i bought this from a specialty store. you might want to check online in your area. You can make your own by gluing them up. any left overs make great cutting boards!

regards

This is very nice! Where do you find bamboo countertops? Thanks for sharing!

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
