I had planned on four 1x1 for lower shelf but was kind of kicking the idea with one and thats where it ended up .Thanks Jay.

Jens, this is nice, looks rugged in stature yet has it own personality.  The drawer with the vertical wood grain pull really catches your attention.  I like the details that you have done in this table.  Thanks for sharing some more of your work.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
