Thank you Stephanie.  I started doing carpentry work about 36 years ago.  I got into woodoworking seriously about 3 or 4 years ago.  The great thing about today are the resources that are available to us especially through the internet.  Almost anything that you would like to learn to do is available in video or text form.  Plus the awesome tools out there like the Kreg Jig system! Best of luck.

I am thinking of modifying this design to make a set of gates in a double door way in our home, to keep our large dogs gated off. These are beautiful!

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
