I learned a lot of things building this little sewing table. Clamping is very important. Using the right screws is also important or you split the wood. Making sure the frames you built are put together in the right direction. Otherwise you have a lop sided table. All in all I'm happy with the end result. :)

Thx Bryan....I got the plans for this from the FREE Project Plans off the Kreg Community Site. However, I built it with a bit of a twist. I made the top using the Kreg Student desk instructions and the bottom from the instructions for the Kreg Workbench and combined them. The only difference was I didn't put a brace at the front because I needed to have access to the foot pedal. Instead of using 2x4's for the legs I bought oak legs at home depot. I adjusted the size of the table to fit my space and voila!!

Hey that table looks great! Did you have a set of plans to work from and if so where did you get them?

Thx guys for the compliments. I'll have to show them to my hubby the next time he comes home. He thought I was nuts hot glueing all the hooks into the peg board. Now he likes it when he grabs a tool out and the hook doesn't come with. :)

Hey Linda, that's a nice table. I am envious of your shop, it's so neat and clean! The tool rack in the back looks like something out of Martha Stewart. Did she consult with you when you designed it?

Thats a great project! The good thing about learning those lessons the first time... The next project goes faster and is so much easier! I have had much more fun on projects after the first one!
Great work! Show is more!
