True. the most common store kept MDF in South Africa is 16mm (5/8"). That slight difference is huge on glue ups.

Great job. I think I may copy you and make some for my daughter.

Its a glued and pinned joint with 3/4 inch wide surface area. It's not coming apart without a fight.

Hi Alex, I used a 2 1/8 hole saw on the drill press and removed the pilot bit. I had to make 40 of them for the 5 boxes I spaced them 3/4 apart with glue and a couple of pin nails

The boxes are made with your basic miter joint
