Lowell, Impressive looking knife.  It looks very well made and I did note the multiple rivits along the handle which should keep the handle and blade together.  30 plus years ago so that means it is made of good old AMERICAN steel that is strong and will take and hold a very keen edge.  I also like the display stand as sycamore wood is one that has alot of interesting grains and excellent choice for a display or other such uses.  I like it alot and it would most likely make Jim Bowe envy its design.

Hi, James,

It is just for personal use. The knife parts laid unfinished for thirty+ years, I finally finished the knife and made the sheath. Then, the other day I decided to make a display stand for it. I had a small piece of highly figured sycamore wood, and used it to make the stand. It is hard to see the figure in the wood in a picture.
