Yes it's for outside use,
Yes it holds ice good
I didn't insulate the top as the lid closes right on its box
Believe it or not I've not put a finish on it but I will put a couple costs of poly on it

Thank you very much .. The entire cooler box is made from cedar... I gave got sketchup plans but I built a blog detailing its build

can we get some more details? some of this looks like syp, but some looks like cedar, some even looks like hickory lol

is this for indoor or outdoor use?

if you're using this outdoors regularly, how did you choose to finish the wood?

does it keep ice well?

did you insulate the top?

this box looks great and i've GOT to have one :-)

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
