Hey Ron - can i ask you where you got those planters? I can't find that look like those at HD or Lowes.

I tried that but the corner of the 4x4 gets in the way of the insert , I love my k5 jig but for that getting the side boards joined  to the 4x4 I would just use a 2x4 split in half with a 1 1/2 sq leg . but as I found out it is very easy to have the pc come out unlevel on one or to legs .. but that just what I found out .

Thanks for the comments Ron, do you feel that using the Kreg tool and joining two boards at the corners would do just as well for the corners?

hey Howard Rainey I cut the 4x4 into a " L" shape on the table saw . leaving an inch and a 1/4 and then you can use the left over cut out for a smaller planter ie 10" sq.. For the top ..... I turn the top upside down and sq up the wood planter on the top then I draw a line on the inside marking the inside of the planter box . and then I screw a 1" sq 12" pc of wood to the top and then turn everything rightside up and then screw that wood strip to the side of the planter box .... after I get all of the xmas things done I will post step by step photos on everything on how to build the planter box or maybe a video .

Where did you get the planter box inserts??

Couple of questions:

1. How did you connect side boards to the vertical 4x4's?

2. How did you connect the top flange to the main box?

3. All stainless steel screws?

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
