Great job Dawn! I like the design, and it's very practical.

The sources you gave for butcher blocks are good ones. From every source, blocks tend to be pricey. Believe it or not, one good source with very reasonable prices is Ikea. Another potential place is Lumber Liquidators. If you have either of these stores in your area, it can be a great way to go. Of course, you can also order online, but butcher blocks are heavy so shipping cost can be high from any source.

Hi the legs I had already they were given to me by a friend who did not want them , the block came in a shipment with other goods from germany for our butchery so do not know were that originally came from , but I do know of http://www.osbornewood.com for legs and of the site http://www.johnboos.com/index.asp?s=r for the blocks but they are very pricey, may be looking on sites for an old butcher block that need up cycling like what I had done to the other butcher block that only needed a drawer and shelves added ,
