Built-In Bookcase

Maple hardwood face, plywood with maple veneer sides. Dual tone achieved using tung-oil finish on columns and back wall; red mahogony stain followed by rub-on poly on shelves and drawer fronts.

P.S. LED emits very little heat.

Yes, i was worried about the heat as well because the puck lights are embedded inside the wood and so I knew that the heat would not vent very well. I used LED puck lights with wires that were hidden inside the shelves. The company for the LED lights was Hampton Bay and I bought it at Home Depot. I also chose LED because they are long lasting. Good luck on the build
