I made this built in with birch plywood and a pine face frame. This was put together with the Kreg Jig, including the doors. Here's a link to more details:

Thanks James! I bought the Kreg jig to complete my very first woodworking project based on Ana White's recommendation of it--so I've got a few more projects that I hope to upload eventually!

Thank you both! I learn something new every project--this one was crown molding and rabbeting the back so the ply wasn't visible from the sides.
