This jig will cut dadoes one and half inches in length up to ten inches in length . The sliding rails clamp the work piece firm furthermore the jig can be used at most of the common angles.

Hi Hans, I used to do the same as you knock jigs up as I went along . Find making purpose made jigs a better use of material ,and their hanging on the wall ready to go .

Nice jig Michael.
Have still not made a singel jig, just improvised and clamped different suitable parts for different tasks.
Obviously a jig speed up work and accuracy.
I add it to my jigs-to-do-list.

Thanks guys ,this was made out of necessity David fed up with struggling doing dadoes in small pieces hence this jig .

Michael, nice looking efficient looking jig.  Simple to set up and should result in some accurate cuts.  I like the large adjustment set up knobs with the large surfaced washers giving you a firm positive lock.  Thanks for sharing
