This is TV stand that is held on 4 Giraffe shaped pine panels. The Front 2 Giraffes are routed after painting to give its distinctive skin shape. Handles made out of same wood cut in shape of a skin cell and connected to door by wooden cylinders used in kid's crafts.
Back has 3 holes for wirings.
Top panel made can carry up to 52" TV.
Table is standing on the 4 legs formed by the giraffes bodies.
All structure held by Pocket holes made easily by K5 jig.
Main tools used: Kreg K5 Jig , Band saw , Table saw , hand held router, Router table, Forstner bits and drill.
Accessories used: Kreg Brown plastic plugs , wooden cylinder from craft store for handles, European hinges 100 degree.
Finish: Dark Walnut stain, and Minwax Helmsman Satin finish.
Cost: ~ $250-300
Time: 30-40 hour excluding design time
