Twin Bed with Storage

Jeff Devlin's design for a twin bed with storage underneath. Instead of painting, I decided to stain and poly the bed.

Really beautiful bed.The bed is the dominant piece of bedroom furniture and through the years people have sought to make it not only be comfortable but beautiful. There are many advantages to buying twin beds with storage. The great thing about this type of storage is that it is so easily accessible without taking up any extra space.Thanks.

Hey Wesley, thanks for commenting.  Actually, the bed is surprisingly easy to move.  It breaks down into four pieces: the headboard, footboard, and two side pieces.  With the drawers removed the side pieces only weight about 50 lbs.  My wife and I moved the bed into my son's room with no problems whatsoever.

I love this bed and would love to build this bed but it looks like a solid design which appears to be difficult to move once built. In your experience building this bed would there be a way to incorporate easy ways to break it down in order to easily move it.
