Portable folding work table

The table is a cross between a sawhorse and a folding table. Idea came from Shop notes magazine issue 134. I work alot from carport handy to have small portable table.

Jack the plans are in shop notes march / april this year. Plans called for plywood top and shelf . I glued up popler to make  top and shelf. Should have used plywood makes it heavy but really strong. The aluminum angle was cut with table saw and jig was in the plans for making the hinges.  The other angle pieces I cut to length with my radial arm saw. I shaped rounded edges with sander.

I really like this work table and the way it utilizes the inherent stability of triangular construction.
You mention "Shop Notes" - did you work from a cut list and plan, or did you design and modify as you worked?
