My Kreg Jig Box

My workshop is only 12x12 so space is at a premium. I built this box to hold all my Kreg supplies and my jig is mounted to the top so I don't have to keep attaching it to my work bench. I mount the box in my Black & Decker shopmate vice and the height is perfect.

Your soapbox is just fine! Yes, His words do have special meaning for me. Had it not been for many praying folks worldwide I believe I'd be rejoicing before Him even now, however "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" so I'm a winner either way.

Thanks for the HB idea. I have looked at them but have never been comfortable with the Harbor Freight tools. I have purchased a few items there but no power tools. I'll look more into them.

David, I think Christ said it best when he said: "I have come to give you life, and that life more abundantly."  I suppose that could mean even more for you!  OK enough of my soapbox.  I'm glad to hear you came thru OK and are doing better now.  BTW, aside from my Kreg Jig and my Craftsman router, almost all of my tools come from Harbor Freight.  Yes they are "cheaper" tools, but I have used many of them for YEARS with no problems.  Because of HF, I have more tools than I could ever have hoped to have if I had to pay the price at Sears or even Home Depot.  The only thing I have found is I have to work a little harder to make sure everything is square.  If you haven't done it yet, you need to check out Harbor Freight!

Good theory! I have life! Last March 29th I had no blood pressure for 15 minutes on the operating table... my surgeon told me two weeks later that he didn't think I'd ever come off the ventilator and if I did I'd have major brain and organ damage... God had a different idea. I woke up and I've a new passion, it's life. I'm a rookie at wood working but am getting set up to start doing it with gusto. I don't have much, but you don't need much to make a difference. Sorry. Didn't mean to get so excited but life for me is exciting since I didn't have it and it was given back to me.

I've always been a believer in the theory that it's not what you have or don't have, it's what you do with what you have that's important.

David, life is relative. I'm jealous of your 12'x12' shop. I live in a 700sq ft apt. in congested Orange County Ca (where everyone thinks that the world owes them something) and have to work out on my 8'x12' patio just hoping neighbors don't get mad at my noise. I looked at your trailer video and was overcome with jealousy over your place. Looks like a place where you will someday build a dream shop. By the way, the family that builds together and camps together, stays together!

Yup, gonna get some wood this weekend.  I just built this out of scrap I had on hand.

Looks really good, David!

Could use some material support stops on each side to help balance boards as you make pocket-holes.
