I never thought of using it as a display case.  That would be very nice and how fitting to display a collection light houses.  I'm sure it gets many comments and lots of attention.  Again,  Thanks and have a great day and start the beginning of some nice holidays ahead giving you lots of opportunities for shop time building Christmas gifts.

Thanks again Jay ,  for your comment , and it is sitting in the ladies living room  as a curio cabinet to display her minature light houses. The shelves are also lighted and she lives in a big house ,HA !

Hi James, this is a very nice looking piece of craftsmanship.  It is large enough to become a main feature in any yard or marine setting and is just plain attractive.   I like several things shown in this photo one being it size but also the fact that the light house is open giving it a demanding look rather that the normal boarded up look.  I noted the large  base for it to sit on yeilding a firm footing to stand against winds and elements.  The light dome is set off by the roof lines and having a revolving light makes this a completed package of which is sure to be a winner in any owners yard.  Nice work and how nice of you to make this a present for a person's Mother.   Thanks for sharing your work.

Thank you George, love to design and build new projects. I started this one from a picture on a brown paper bag .It was a present for the guys mother !
