Hello Jim, I loved your jig idea so much I had to incorporate it into my new mobile assembly/Router table I am building. Thanks for the help.

I have been traveling, the two pictures below show the jig and track. The T-Nuts are visible in the second picture and it a bracket used to hold a 4" dust colletion host that. If I do not clamp the hose the suction pulls it loose when I turn on the collector.

The hose holder is screwed into on of the T-Nuts. Since my bench is next to all wall I need to move the jig between two locations to hold long pieces. Also notice the Kreg Stops that can be moved along the track. The top picture is to the right of the bottom picture.

I did something a little different I sunk T-Nuts all along the edge of my bench positioned so I can mount 2 ft sections of T-Track separared by the spacing for the Kreg Jig. In each gap I put in four T-Nuts spaced so they would hold the Kreg Jig in place. On the T-Track I mounted two Kreg Stops (one came with the jig). Now I can position the stops so they are about 8" away from the center of the Kreg Jig. With the setup I can quickly drill two holes near the board ends and two 6-8" closer to the center. For most of my work 4 holes per side is enough. This allows me to drill all the holes to assemble production pedestals very quickly. When I am done drilling all the holes a few screws removed with a power screwdriver and I am ready to use the bench for assembly.

I'm looking forward to receiving my catalog so I can order clamps, screwe, "etc" to enable me to start a couple of projects, the little bet of stuff received with origional Kreg order is gone.
Patient waiting

That slide out is a great idea.
A dedicated Kreg station would make using this joinery method more likely.
Thanks for sharing.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
