very cool!  How do you make the x's, are they just notched out and joined, and are the 2x6 or 2x8

They look great and sturdy. Like the design especially the legs and joints. I'm sure they will last more than a lifetime. Great work!

just the top is pine the rest is solid oak,,  the top is to large 2''thick peice's that were 18 1/2'' wide

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
