Good idea man, thanks for sharing. I'll have to give it a try. I'm building a desk for a client now, but haven't decided on the legs yet.

i get all my lumber from my local sawmill and let dry out myself cause it all cheaper!!!! the legs are 3''x 3'' cause then it makes it easyer for me to cut the 2 sided taper on the legs with my 10''table saw free hand,, any thing bigger would have tobe cut on my bandsaw or a 12''table saw,,, just alway plane your legs and when you cut the first taper off keep it and tape it back on the leg so your next cut stays level

how'd you make the desk legs? Are those tapered 4x4's or something else?

New to the forum. Very nice desk and chair set, would like to know where I could get a plan for the chair. I'd like to make a set for both my kids.

Wow, I am so impressed by the solid work you put out.  What an awesome talent.  Very cool design on the x-back chair.  Someday I might be half as good as you!!!
