I typically sketch out a (really) rough drawing with a few dimensions, and figure out most on the fly. I'm not sure if you need detailed, step by step instructions or not.  I've edited a photo to show dims, and added a materials list and cuts that aren't obvious in the photo.  I've also left out the details for the splines in the miters - the splines are 1/8" walnut, located 3/8" from the top and bottom, and in the center of each mitered corner.  Let me know if you need more info.

Those are beautiful, I would like to build one to put my cremated dog in, do you by chance have any sort of plans for the one without the mirror? It is greatly appreciated if you do.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
