This is my first project using pocket holes. When I first decided to build this cabinet I was going to use dowels, but after buying several jigs (that didn't work) I came across Kreg on youtube and decided to give it a try. I kept my original plans and just changed it to use pocket holes. I bought a Kreg jig jr and went to work. It took 116 pocket holes to build this cabinet and they are the only thing holding it together. I am very impressed with the sturdiness of pocket holes, and all my future projects will be built using pocket holes
