Coca-Cola Girls Puzzle Framed

This was my first picture frame. As always, I used reclaimed wood. I am not sure what kind of wood it is but I believe it to be an oak. This is one I'm quite proud of and I think it came out great.

We received this puzzle and decided one day to put it together. And since the "Classic Coke Girls" were so great and it had several of them in it. We decided to frame it up.

So, off to the woodshop I went (okay, off to the internet to get ideas on how to make a picture frame first). And I built my first picture frame.

I plan to build several more as we also have some really nice photographs that are very old but in pristine condition. They aren't quite the as large as this puzzle, the puzzle itself measures at 36" x 12", but after making this frame so successfully I plan to get those photos framed up soon.

Hope you all enjoy this as much as I did making it! Now all we have to do is decide which wall it's going to hang on in home! :)

Thanks Kreg for making joining a picture frame easy "AND" sturdy! Not sure it would have worked as well without learning some other form of joining pictures frames like biscuits or splines.
